I bought the harhen jib cleats for my hobie 16 that does not have the locking slide ( I had the old jib cleat system). I was trying to put together the adjustable jib travelors, but I am not sure how to rig them up. I need some suggestions or diagrams please!!

You need to have a pully and cleat mounted on the frame on the outside edge of both traveller tracks (I think they're on the corner casings). The old locking types did not have these. a rope is tied to the outside edge of the traveller car, threaded trough the cleat on the outside and the two traveller cars are tried together with a piece of bungee cord.

There's a picture of what I mean in murrays catalogue

Hey

Pretty new to the whole hobie thing myself..in process of doing the epoxy hull thing and the other up grades to ensure safe fast sailing.
I too have struggled with the best layout for the jib traveller system????? Any help would be great!
