I'm going to post something as well on the F14 forum, but this forum gets a lot more attention...

Is there still interest in doing an F14 class at SF this year?? Last year Mr. Ernie made the class for us following a petition by Bob Curry. I have preregistered with my Hobie 14 w/Hooter and a friend will bring another one. There are already a few 4.3s and a Hobie 14 Turbo preregistered.

Anyone interested??

Wow Dan, I never knew you frequented this site. I still want to see that F14 boat you have, sounds like some fun.

Depending on the Wave Class, but if they are not going to attend, Mary and I might show up with Waves/Hooters. This will be the first time we have had a chance to attend since the event is always been in comflict with my running my spring sailing seminars.

They usually give out class trophies depending upon # of boats registered. If you have 4 F-14's, you'll get your class, but not an independant start.
Rick and Mary have registered as F-14's, so you're cool.

The Mystere 4.3s are also Formula 14 boats. Last year, we just let Mr. Ernie know we wanted to be scored straight up and start together. It was no trouble to split out the 4.3s while also scoring all the F-14 together as well. Just let them know via e-mail in advance!

Wish I were going!
