Posts: 99 Chicago, IL | Currently I’m looking for the main sail battens for my N6.0. I found this company www.rbsbattens.com they make epoxy and carbon tapered battens. The manufactures told me that their battens were used for Nacra 450, 500, 570. Any suggestions whether they are good battens for N6.0 Thanks Kris

Posts: 12,310 South Carolina | I would recommend that you consider going to your nearest performance cat dealer....I can't remember the brand name on the battens, but you could run into some one-design issues if you're concerned about it (not sure if that is in the rules or not).
With all reality, however, I've been really impressed with the latest battens that Performance catamarans are using. I had an old, 1997 set in my 6.0 sails and ordered new battens when I replaced the sails (I think about $330 for the battens?) and they're tough and well made. The F18 sails use the same brand.
