If any of you are planning to come to the Rick White’s Sailing Seminar April 17-22 in Key Largo, please let me know right quick, because I have a block of motel rooms that I can’t hold much longer.
This annual spring beach-cat seminar has been nicknamed “the boot camp,” and rightly so, by former seminar participants, who number in the thousands. It is an intensive, five-day race-training seminar, including at least five hours a day of on-water drills, PLUS teaching videos, lectures, chalk-talks, and videos of your performance during the drills. You will be busy each day from breakfast at 7:30 a.m. until the end of the last lecture at 7:30 p.m.
It’s a great way to get yourself and your boat tuned up for the sailing season.
You can find most of the information about it at
www.sailingseminars.com.Call Mary at 305-451-3287 or e-mail me at mary at catsailor dot com.
P.S. If you are a Hobie 16 sailor who would like to attend but cannot bring your boat and don’t have a crew (or are a crew yourself), I have someone who is coming from Michigan with a Hobie 16 and needs a sailing partner on his boat.
