2005 Delaware State Championships at RBSA

From the Div. 11 site

Wind, Wind and more wind! best describes the 2005 Delaware State Championships held in Rehoboth, DE on May 7 & 8, 2005. Racers that arrived on Friday were the first to be greeted by nuclear winds. A couple teams ventured out for some practice but quickly turned around. The winds continued through most of Saturday and unfortunately racing was cancelled. The wind began to subside at 3pm on Saturday so quite a few teams went out and got some much needed practice.
Sunday morning initially brought heavy but more subdued winds, but by the time racing began the wind was blowing nearly as hard as it had been on Saturday. Fortunately we went racing, and PRO Mark Santorelli was able to get in four good races. Quite a few flips, but no major collisions or damage. An awesome, exciting start to Division 11's 2005 season!

Does Liza know you're cheating on her with some woman with an exotic name?

Nice job, Bob - tough two over Rich. Will there be film at eleven?

After watching Lionel Messi play, I realize I need to sail harder.

Liza will be back but Alicia did a fantastic job.
It was one of those days when everyone was ready to go but waiting for the first boat to leave the beach just to see if they flipped right away.
Ken Hilk and Bev Griffo broke the ice and the rest of us followed. What a day, my arms are still sore.
