Are you looking for a great distance race?

Check out this years Fitness Resource Chesapeake 100 Race. The C100 is a race of 50 miles down the bay to Solomons from Sandy Point on Saturday … walk to the hotel… tear up the Tiki Bar in Solomons… get back on the boat… sail 50 miles back to where you started! Since you end up at the same place CRAC provides a van to get your personal gear down to Solomons and back home.

This is a tough race, with great competition in a spin class, non spin class, a maxi cat class (Renyolds 33 and others) and overall. Get 5 of a kind and get scored as a one design as well! Odds are you get to carry that chute one day!

Cheap Registration and Hotel reservations are due by May 15th. For the NOR, Sailing instructions and all other questions see www.sailcrac.com under regattas. CRAC on line registration web page

Get psched... go fast

Many thanks to our sponsor this year, Fitness Resource, the Mid-Atlantic's premier supplier of exercise equipment.

Calling all east coast skippers. This is the only 100 mile race this year on the east coast; maybe the only significant distance race outside of the Tybee this year in the east. Looking for some of you distance racers in the Carolinas. Come on up and enjoy a logistically easy event that will challenge your sailing skills. Some of you New England skippers should plan to come down as well. Its got navigation, tactics, upwind and downwind legs. The Chesapeake is beautiful this time of year.
