It is 1210am EST and my wife gets home from work at 1:30am you think she will get mad when she runs into this?

This is our living room. This would be my kind of living room!

LOL! Reminds me of a cartoon I saw many years ago, in an English sailing magazine I think. A man is walking up a driveway towards a house, and a woman peers out from under a half open garage door. Behind her in the garage you can see various household items and some kids, and she says to the visitor, "He's in the living room working on the boat".

Your living room is not complete without drips of epoxy in the rug. No wait..... thats the breezeway, garage, shop, driveway.......
Anyway- Use this as a threat if she objects to your nice clean pretty sail indoors.

Strictly speaking, our sails aren't usually on the floor for too long, but only because Jake's always sailing! We do, however, regularly have other people's sails over to visit...for graphics application. From my perspective, it looks like just another day.

LOL, well I doubt she'd get mad. But I do think shes going to make you get it out of there pretty quick. Btw, is that an Xbox? I have admit that Im a COMPLETE video game addict. Though Im more of a PS2 person (better games). Oh and you should get the game Splinter Cell (the new version) on the Xbox. Its AMAZING and it got a 9.9 rating which is practically the highest rating given to any Xbox game. As you can see in the picture your not the only one with a messy room.

Alot of my friends are at E3 right now. Having both the Epic and the Red Storm offices nearby made it easy for my Compsci friends to get jobs in the gaming community right out of school. One of them even setup his own company making middleware facial animation software for 3d games (his software is in everything from Unreal Tournament to Half Life 2, to almost every up-and-coming xbox 3d title)

CliffyB is a huge nerd ... and still owes me $20 for a bartab when he forgot his wallet.

Robi, what kind of sail is that? Looks nice and shiney

We're an Xbox household. I enjoy watching Halo 2, but personally prefer the more adventure roleplaying type games like Morrowind and Fable. I like the idea of a whole other world where I can roam freely...stop and go fishing whenever I want, etc. Plus, my character in Fable has a mohawk and some super cool tattoos that I bought for him. He's also quite a randy fellow. Yes, you can do that in Fable. In Morrowind, I have a bedroom in one of the Guild Halls that is full of diamonds and gold, decorations, magical potions, weapons, and such. Sometimes I go back there to drop off or pick up some more stuff, or just to chill out after a tough battle. There are no sails on the floor, though, Robi! I hardly ever play anymore, but I sure do enjoy it when I get a chance.

Those are pentex sails from redhead, made in Australia. Good stuff.

Anyway, in every adult I think there is a child deep down. In our case we are gamming freaks. I love gamming, Xbox, Ps2 and PC. As of right now I am curently playing Myst IV Revelation, this is my most favorite series of games. Talk about deep thought and puzzle solving.

Bonnie: Hey thats great. Judging from the games you play and your preferances I really recommend World of Warcraft on the pc. Its one of the highest rated MMORPG games (Massively multiplayer online role playing game).
My favorite types of games though would be strategy games on the PC. Like Rise of Nations and Age of Empires/Mythology. I CANT WAIT till Age of Empires III gets released. Id probably live right next to my laptop.

here are a few pics of the game.

and this is the website for if any1 is interested

You are not the only one! Our den looks like that during sailing season. Since we have 4 catamarans, plus innumerable windsurfing sails, there's always something to mend, glue, sew or fix.

Most of all, our 2 cats (the 4-legged kind) absolutely LOVE all that crinkly stuff on the floor. They lie on hid, hide under it and generally mess things up.

Not to hijack the thread, but I've got a penchant for the old C&C Red Alert and Red Alert II. Something about being in charge of the whole process rather than 1st person shooter is a challenge. The final battles are the best, with everything including armagheddon happening.

I started Age of Empires, but haven't become as addicted. Maybe it's because I'm still in the middle ages...

I totally agree .. the Red alert games are what got me addicted to strategy games in the first place. Command and conquer was amazing. But I absolutley HATED "generals" ... Well Age of Empires 2 isnt as good as Rise of nations <<< you should seriously try it. The best game EVER!
But when Age of Empires 3 comes out it will be unmatched in terms of graphics and gameplay thats why Im looking forward to it. But it doesnt come out till November 05.

lol I didnt really like that game .. I even tried Act of war: Direct action ... both were a dissapointment
Im more into the historical aspect of the games. Where I can upgrade and use forces that were actually existent (such as my personal favs the Persian and the Ottoman empire) instead of some random alien/monster.
