A few years ago I had a name of a person/vendor who made small custom catamaran models for, like, $30 or $40 to look like whatever model cat you were asking for.

I've lost this address but would love to give my hubby a cat model of our fave boat for his b'day.

Does anyone know of a model maker?

Thanks - I checked out his website and the detailing in his ship models is amazing! Although I'm afraid he is probably very expensive I have dropped him an email.

There is a trophy company "Sculptures by Claire" http://www.sculpturesbyclaire.com/ who makes models of many cats and monos for use as trophies.
They also make color sketches and line art on metal.

You could get just the art or have a Birthday Trophy made.
