Sooo... you want to know what the Matrix is...

Every page I can find on it leads to the same person trying to sell it so I think he is mistaken on the model. I did find one of the pics he had on one of the ads at:

I have seen one. I was told that they were made in Italy. It looked like a Nacra 5.2. Out of time

It was an 80s catamaran that looked like a Nacra 5.7 spinoff. It had very limited success and popularity. There was one in Pensacola racing for a few seasons, but I forgot who raced it.

The matrix 5.5 catamaran was made in the Daytona Beach area circa 1982. Up until 2 years ago, there was a pair of them set up by the main street pier selling rides. One was sailed in Gilligans Run 3 years ago. Kind of a heavy boat, no center boards.

i think that Boston Whaler was the only other manufacturer of Supercat products.

Thanks, I figured that. I had come across a Matrix Marine Company when I was searching for information on the Matrix 5.5 so I was taking a guess.
