Posts: 1,669 Melbourne, Australia | The Australian Formula 18 Association takes pleasure in announcing the venue for the 2007 Formula 18 World Championships to be Vincentia Sailing Club. The venue takes Formula 18 away from the major cites and places the event on one of the worlds most pristine and unspoilt waterways Jervis Bay, New South Wales. Racing will be on a Marine Park and set between Jervis Bay National Park and Booderee National Park. The whole area abounds with wildlife on and off the water. If you ever wanted to sail in paradise, this is your chance. We look foward to seeing you in February 2007. And as this is sure to be a quite popular event (as are the current F18 worlds), you will likely need to qualify within your country to compete for available slots. The number of slots each country is allowed is directly proportional to the number of members in it's class association. So join your associations!!!

Unregistered | Hi all, No roos don't smoke, but if you go to these titles you may see more of them than people. It's a pretty out of the way spot no big towns close by. Mind you when you tell the wife you enjoyed the scenery and the wildlife, you will be honestly talking about the flora and fauna, it ain't the Gold Coast. Should be a great place to sail though. Regards Gary. | | |
