Ok,I know it's not a sailboat but watch the whole video and you'll have to agree it's out of the box thinking.

yeah, it really is a cool piece of R/C thinking and design. One incredibly powerful electric motor and a very light chassis.

Unfortunately it seems like the guys behind it can't seem to get their act together enough to actually get either fully builts or kits out to an eager public. They've even had to shut down the HydroFoam forum because they kept getting asked the same questions all the time and had too huge an amount of traffic

If they ever manage to get it to the marketplace I'll be buying one (or maybe 2 or 3)

That is way cool, I'd like to see the outtakes, they must crash one in while.

I fly RC both planes and Helicopters, those guys have been around for a while, the neet thign about them is that they are built out of foam and they use inexpensive electronics, so they're relatively inexpensive to build. Personally i have never been much of a foam builder, but there are planes online if you search for somethign like hydrofoam.

Looks like it's available in time for Christmas.

$229 complete with remote. A pretty cool toy. I'd probably get one (for the kids, of course ) if I had the extra $ to spend.

If you look a little lower you find a couple of places to buy it. The price seems to vary quite a bit.
