Sorry, but in the process of trying to be sure everyone was getting the full screen, we managed to screw something else up.

AHA! the gremlins strike again! I have spent the better part of my life hunting down these furry little creature(yes they are furry, how else do you account for all the fuzz in computer cases?) So far i have found no known agent that repels the little mongrels. What I do know is:
1. they are relentless
2. though they can't speak they have a firm understanding of murphy's law and use it against us
3. if you do find one you must not show it to your wife before killing it, she will think its cute and allow it to go free
4. they prefer non-stock or ungraded systems to play in
5. they seem to be able to teleport using internet connctions as a guide to safely do so
and...
6. THEY EXIST!

I have to laugh at my confusion. Loging on and reading my "unread" posts I had this feeling of deja vu all over again. It felt like last week! I've been here before! Then I read Rick's post about using an old backup.

This leads to the obvious question...Was anything that was said in the last few days (that which is now lost forever)...was ANY of it really important? While I love to read this forum regularly, my answer had to be, sadly, no.

I predict we will survive the lost posts.

Hey! I had some profound moments in there somewhere...didn't I? We lost all that talk about the spectacular support crew available in the land down under!

Dear Rick and Mary, I'm feeling a little guilty now...I still don't get the whole page

I'm not sure now whether I only "dreamed" about the female back up crew in Australia or if I only dreamed that I dreamed of them??

The reason you are still not getting the whole page is that the whole thing failed.., and we are starting over. It may be some time today before the format of the template is changed.., it is a rather large undertaking.

How regularly do you take full and incremental backups ?

Might be worth taking a backup before the next maintenance is planned.

If you read back through Rick's post you will see that he did take a backup BEFORE the site change, but it had some form of corruption. ergo the site had to be backdated to a previous backup that was two days older
