Hello, I have the gennaker kit for my dart 18 and i'm confused on how the sheets run. do I jibe the sail between the leach and forestay or do I just let it fly out around the leach and pull in on the new side? any help greatly appreciated.

YOu rig it so the Sheets run "inside" the sail and infront of the Forstay.

The clew of the sail goes between the luff of the kite and the forestay when you gybe.

Hope this helps

thanks scooby, that's how i've been running it i was just re-reading the rigging guide and the drawing had the sheets running in front of the leach.

It is possible to do it either way - I've seen one or two that run the sheets around the front of the spinnaker. 99% of them, however, run the sheets between the luff and the forestay (requires less sheet and jibes just as easily).
