I debated with alot of stuff before coming up with "Elsies".
I thought about something playing on cat. I narrowed it down to three names before that one.
Smooth Operation
Hull Raiser
Elsies

I think the one I chose is the best, it will have the most meaning.

Once you go cat you never go back! Nacra 5.2 (Elsies)#1499, running an inter17 spin!

Ok.....so my Harley's all have names, and...yep I know I'm strange, but they usually tell me their name by the time we get well aquainted. Their names are Thelma, Louise, Bertha, and Betsy (who has been with me almost 30 years and over 200k miles). As for boats...my 6.0 was "Double Trouble", and my N20 finally told me her name after a particularly rough day racing at Catfight this year while she was getting a few holes patched up...."Lucille".

Just remembered another good one...my nephew-in-law is big in the Highlander world, and one of his boats is so old and full of holes from rigging changes he calls her "Woodpecker".

They all have been "9 Lives" here. Although after many pitchpoles, etc. I think the ninth was used many years ago.

Joe, I have the same name for my catamaran,"Double Trouble" that is the one that stuck not only because of the two hulls but my crew is my twin brother. (The other name is "Team Bulk", needless to say we like it windy).

For my future Fontaine-Pajot Venezia 42'...
"Glamorous Pussy"

quote from the movie A LIFE LESS ORDINARY, which should have been a better movie, but cute nevertheless. In any case, in the scene, Tony Shalhoub is telling Ewan MacGregor that he'll never get a chance again to get "glamorous pussy" like Cameron Diaz...

This sig would be something witty, but the censors are against that.
