You should also checkout "Paul Elvstrom Explains the Racing Rules of Sailing, 2001-2004" It is a first-class book, with lots of pictures, examples, and ISAF cases. I've been reading it for a couple of weeks, and I'm finally starting to get the hang of things (OK - most of the time!).
