Real easy launch with no one around but a few I might say well behaved Jet skiers and bass boats that give you room to sail. The lake offers anyone not willing to deal with the beach parking on the weekend and still wanting to test a boat or take somone new sailing . Lakes are few and far between in this neck of the woods and this North-South running body of water although compact in width is a blast on a beam reach. Restrooms at the park and cooking grills with areas to keep out of the sun get your own piece of grass and pull your boat up to it. Try it for free. Bob G.

Between Boynton and Delray Beach. How about Lake Osborne a little further north?.
I have been thinking about these two lakes for those days I dare not venture into the sea.

I95 to Alantic Ave.in Delray go west to Congress, then north to Lake Ida rd. make rt. then a left after you go under the I95 overpass. You can use the ramp on the west side and then sail to where you want to picnic. There is a another boat ramp on the se. side of the lake used by the nieghbors of Lake Ida even more user friendly with a grass field around it and room for maybe 8 cars and thier trailers. This ramp is found by going east on Atlantic ave. to Swinton then north to 11st. make left and then head straight to the ramp and park. Ferminj I do know there are homes that have cats in thier yards on lake Osbourne but have never explored it. Gee I guess when ya think about it there are a half dozen or so places to try in South Palm Beach county. I have also pushed off at Hypoluxo off us1. opposite the Boynton Inlet bridge which is a fixed bridge . You can sail up to the Lantana bridge to the Old House for lunch and Booze. This area is known as Lake Worth and is wide enough to sail in all the way up to Singer island but you would have to deal with the bascuale bridges unless you had a Hobie wave or a sunfish. I am going to take a drive by Lake Osbourne. Can you sail on twin lakes in Palm Beach? D'ont forget about Phill Foster as there is plenty of room on that end of Lake Worth too with commander of Peanut Island, SuperCat Craig of Cyberspeed. Speaking of which Craig when are we going to hear the announcement?

Well, I guess you forced me to come out of the closet...

It seems I am to wed the girl I have been dating for the last 15 years. Some times you must face your biggest fears. The big day (bachelor party)is October 20 and I get married on October 22.

The wedding is going to be a fairly small affair concidering I have 23 people in my immediate family and the reception room only holds 100 people. The bachelor party is wide open though.

It is not for the weak. Scuba diving in the morning, sailing following immediately and capped off with night on the town being chauffered in the "Singer Island Trolley." Let me know who is interested.
