Whoa bubba,

you been kinda ugly. And you really don't have room to brag, because...

I've been in the grafix biz for 22, yes, that's TWENTY-TWO years, first as a typographer (bet you don't even know what that is) and then as a desktop publishing tech and image manipulation specialist (means I work in Qxp, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.)

So since I've offered my c.v., I'll tell you that your FIRST choice in ANY graphics should be for READABILITY, and your boat logo is virtually ILLEGIBLE. if you can't read the type, it's doing no good whatsoever, regardless whether it 'looks kewl.'

Now be nice.

Read comprehend post. My initial post was my personal opinion, its ARCAIC, so what? Arent we all entitled to a personal opinion?

Then I said to the author of the thread, that he needed graphics, I am more than happy to help him out. Then everyone jumped down my throat. OH NO ROBI BLAH BLAH-YADDA YADDA.

Now a bubba comment? What is a BUBBA anyway? And I dont have room to brag? PALEZE! get over it. 22yrs of experience? good for you. You obviously are the resident expert, anymore credentials to show? I am just a measly self taught wanna be graphics designer. I do this as a hobby, not because I depend on it. I know my limits and I know about tastefully done graphics. And to sum it all up you want me to be nice? yeah aha! ok.

Who cares about the font for names on boats? From 300 yards away, the only way you can tell which boat is which is by the Native American icon on the whomper.

Hey bubba,

sorry but I haven't seen anything that looks "tasteful" from you.

Here's to being "nice" to someone who wont return the favor!

We really don't wanna get out the gloves here, Robi is young and abrupt, He's learning about life still, Tami's never gotten an award for tact and is equally direct, and she's been at it for awhile.
You guys disagree and have different taste and a similarity of certain communication styles.
If we all had the same taste the world might just be beige, and then how would you find your house?
Lighten up guys, it's just a message board.
Do we have to call Sam in as Referee?

By the way, Cary, is that avatar you've got under your name from Tradewinds 2005?

I recall a boat doing an endo like that, and as we screamed by laughing, we managed to dig for clams with our snuffer as well... Fun times..

HULL GRAPHIC - SHARK TEETH

[color:"purple"] When all the shark attacks began to occur, I decided to sketch, copy, and have a vinyl sign company cut the [color:"red"] Shark Teeth graphic that I put on the inside hull of a 1973 Hobie 16 [color:"blue"] No More Shark Attacks! I agree - I've seen a lot of attempted shark teeth on boats and that's probably one of the best I've seen. Well done!

I'm not sure that was appropriate viewing material....at least link to something like that so that doesn't pop up with my boss looking over my shoulder.

Did this just turn into Sailing Anarchy Forum? Jeez.
Hey Gary, I know the title of the thread had "graphic" in it but they didn't mean it that way....

Unless.............IS THAT a Graphic? (If so, my apologies)
