That was a nice recovery on getting washed over. It looked like his adjustable trap line slipped. We just had a discussion on TheBeachcats.com about the fiddle blocks on trap lines taking off thumbs and other important part of anatomy. I mentioned that I dislike them because they slip on me a lot. I've never been washed over, but I have "tea bagged" myself a couple of times doing it. Nice to see it happens to others, too.

its easier than you think while trapping out at the beginning of a long distance race leg to forget to "stand on your feet"

One wave comes along and whamo you're body surfing the roostertrails. I know it happens to me quite often because of my clod-hoppers and long legs just favor a wave-washing.

After a couple minutes on the water you're more aware of where your feet are
