Has anyone seen a catamaran calendar to be used as a Christmas gift?

Any other bright ideas for Santa for the sailing enthusiast?

I have seen good sailing calandars at BArnes and Noble and Border's Books. They are usually large mono slugs. For the past few years I have gotten some really nice ones of wooden sailboats in black and white. They aren't cats, but still very nice. I even framed about 10 of the pics.

Sailing World's Dr. Crash Calender is a "can't miss". It usually features a beach cat in at least one month. I've never had a better conversation piece in my office.

Wow Jake, you even have an office now? Muah ha ha ha. I bet you even have your own stapler right?
Yeah, the Dr. Crash is a great calendar. Plenty of good carnage in there....

Looks like Sharon Green's calender will also have some cats in it. She took some awesome pics at the Tiger Worlds this year:

Happened to be in West Marine last night and my kid all excited shows me this calender, it has cats(looks like a Tiger) on 4 months. Real nice but about $20.
Also had Dr. Crash, makes you wonder how some of those boats can end up like that. One looks like it was hit by a train.

Actually, that has happened. The trimaran Earth Voyager was badly damaged by a train that jumped off the tracks and crashed into the building where the boat was being stored. I guess your boat isn't safe anywhere.

IMHO I think you would need to re-examine whether or not you are destined to be a sailor if your boat gets wrecked by a train. Just one step away from having an elephant sit on it.

Yet another question that I should know the answer to but don't.........

My wife, who is a lurker to this website, asked if I know what "word" stands for? All I can tell her is that it means you agree with the posting but I'm not sure if it actually stands for anything. Does it?

We are! Flying to Atlanta thursday for the International Assoc. of Amusement Parks and Attractions convention. After the convention we are driving home (I bought a truck in Atlanta over the internet)in our new truck via Washington DC, doing the touristy thing, then to Pennsylvania for Thanksgiving with friends and back home to New Hampshire to plow snow I'll wager.
Maybe I'll get to use some of my ghetto slang in the hood in DC....gettin' funky with the peeps.

Ok, look at the Aug pic on the left. what is the line/shock chord running from the diamond wire to the shroud (up by the spreader). Looks like it's only on one side. Am I crazy or is it some kind of positive rotation for starboard???? I'd post it here (Sharon Green pic from the race web site) but it's probably copywrited)

Is this the "second language" they are teaching in schools these days?

Did you hear that they were going to have a "Miss Ebonics USA" contest but they had to cancel it?
No one wanted to be Miss Idaho.
