I'm looking for a boat to crew on for the upcoming Steeplechase.

I've sailed the OBX500 (and wrote about it for Sailing World - Feb. 2005) I skipper a Hobie 20 but enjoy crewing, too, and have been sailing for 30 years. I can navigate, handle any combination of sails, weigh 175 pounds, and will be glad to help with all the set-up and take-down chores. I'll be in the Keys starting Dec. 7. C'mon, man, how important is that job anyway. Can't you just suplement your income playing sax and call it a promotion? And here's another thing to consider: What happens if you get the promotion and your job gets more demanding and you can't sail as much! That could be a real problem. You'd best get in all the sailing you can before something bad happens, like a promotion.
