It looks like Santa's sleigh. I bet it's fast going downhill on a good bed of snow.

I saw one in Durban, they told me it was a "Cobra".
Looks like a H16/TheMightyHobie18 hybrid, with mutant bow rake, which was probably an effort to stop pitchpoling, but I doubt it would help, because the buoyancy would come in to effect too late - ie further drag would already be established by bow attitude, and the tripping over itself be established.

No mistake about it. It is a beach cat , and a whole lot of fun, you can be sure. The rest is details, and nit-picking snobbery at best.

With its 5m length it can only really be another brand new revolutionary F16 design. (I guess he just forgot to rig the jib and spinny).

why didnt someone just ask the guy thats taking a leak behind his truck what kind of boat it is?

The men were amazed, and said, "What kind of a man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?" Matthew 8:27

What kind of cat?..... How about we start with what planet the photo was taken..... or what disaster occured prior to the time where they are sailing.

Yea, Sandstone strata layers, earthquakes, 300 million years ago. WOW.
Sorry guys haven't a clue, but it is a very dramatic photo.
