What the photos don't show is the true "end". Looking closely, I see that those two sailors are still on the wire in the 3rd photo. Wonder what it looked like when the pendulum came swinging back in.

OUCH! - whatever it looked like, I bet it didn't feel to good!

I thought wave piercing was supposed to be fast?

How fast can a boat go dragging the crew behind:-)
