We gathered up 4 F18's and screamed around a 25 mile course here on Lake Murray yesterday. Picture perfect 12 to 15 knot breeze and although it was a distance course we just established, will probably be a record that won't crack for a while (and yeah, Trey Brown and I set it!).

good work Jake.

I asked Trey if I'm going to get ditched, our cell phone cut out before he could answer

Alan, by the way, your boat looks spectacular. how's she treating you?

Didn't make it out on New Year's eve, but did make it out on the eve of New Year's eve! Friday was overcast on the Chesapeake Bay, but temps ranged in the high 40's, wind was WNW ranging from 10 to 17 kts. My Dad and I took the F-27 from the Little Magothy to north of the Patapsco and back. Great ride and great to have the Bay almost to ourselves, save for the oyster/clammers and the migratory ducks. I think the Bay is beautiful this time of year. Had the fun of being paced by a marine police Boston Whaler (checking in on the fishing boats) that had to be on plane to stay with us as we were going upwind. Great way to close out the year! New Year's Day would have been absolutely perfect to be out there, but alas family duties called...
