For those with an interest, my personal web site has moved with me - if you had it bookmarked, change it to http://home.comcast.net/~john.e.williams

Schedule is lean and specific to my personal plans right now since I am no longer affiliated with fleet organization.

Upcoming updates - info on the new yacht club and info/pics on our new F18.

Thanks -

John Williams

Congrats on boat!

If you would, go ahead and list the OSYC races: Slip to Ship, Memorial Day weekend, and Island Hop, July 4 or weekend closest to it.

We ain't gotta building, but the beach is still there, and the houses didn't survive, but the boats did...

Tami, we've got your events listed on the Key Sailing Sailor's Page tab, going to Ship Island 5-27/28, Horn Island 7-1/2, and the Shearwater event in October.

Good luck with the re-build, and we most definitely hope they get the dredges out to clean out your bay too. It would really suck to crash into a casino Maybe they'll be able to steal some of them dagger cruhching oyster beds while they're at it. Got my brand new Nacra f-18 boards first event I did on it a couple years back, sounded like I ran up on a parking lot. Come on over and join us for a few and we'll do the same.

JMac

thanks! [Re: JMAC] #63936

You'd be surprised, but the embayment is pretty much as it was before. Anything that's out there seems to be near the beach (couple trees) and is visible even at high tide.

Now, that said, going into Back Bay (under the bridge) and out past the islands is where the debris is, from what I've heard - I haven't been out there yet.

We took our F27 out into the channels off OSYC (the race area) and were ok. Jay was on an TheMightyHobie18 the other day and ran up on a bar near the channel intersection between the Biloxi Channel and the main channel that goes into Back Bay. I think he found a dredge bar, myself.

You ain't about to get the oyster beds gone, though. Those boys on the luggers gotta eat too. ;-)

We'll be seeing y'all
thanks
