I need to make some abrasion patches for my sails...and need some of this stuff from time to time anyway - does anyone know where I can find a roll or large pieces of the sticky back dacron material? I would prefer to get it through several middle men (like a sailmaker).

The ultimate supplier for most sailmaking supplies in the US is Bainbridge.
http://www.bainbridgeint.com/

If you have a tax # it is easy to setup an account with a wholesaler.

Biloxi, MS. You can help out a Katrina victim - she lost her house, entire. The shop was messed up pretty badly too, but she's getting stuff in.
