Has anyone sailed this boat yet? It sounds like it is winning or finishing very well in most of the races it is in. I also heard that the Capricorn is now faster down wind is this true?

I sail one every now and again. They are a very nice boat to sail and are capable of winning however like any boat, it is really up to crew work.

Raw speed - probably as fast on average as any F18 out there. If you expect to buy the boat and sail away from the fleet, forget it. If I were in the market for a good all round F18, it is a toss of the coin between a capricorn or Hobie Tiger.
