Hi all
Taking Mary's advice, I have moved this thread from the Formula 20 Forum to here.
My Inter 20 (aquired last Nov. and not rigged till yesterday)is now pretty well ready to go except for sorting the gennaker. There is a tramp bag, a narrow diameter pole with internal cordage/pulley, and I have little clue how to set up the system. Diagrams or photos to clarify descriptions would be greatly appreciated.
Looking forward to peoples replies.
Regards

Chris

Well the short (without snuffer) answer is:
you need a line called a tack line tied to the tack and a pully at the end of your pole that can be cleated at your cross beam and another that ties to the head of the sail through the bail to the block at the top of the mast down through a turning block on the crossbeam through a spinlock.
and that is the minimum of configuration to raise the spin.

it is also possible to do it all with one line by running the tack line through a an opposing block (2 blocks back to back) and back to the end of the pole and taking the hallyard through the other side of that block before going into the spinlock. your hallyard needs to be about 12 feet longer than the other system.

Thanks Wouter and Marc for your helpful replies. I hope to get a system up and running over the next few days - then out and play!!

Regards

Chris
