Hi All !
I am planning to race my H16 singlehanded, with mainsail only and could be gennaker also -of course out of H16 class
I know I should take some less rake than with two crew and jib, but not how many holes/onches/cm in the shrowds.
Can anyone offer advice to me? Some general ones would be also welcome. Wetsuit is already planned !!

Thanks !!

Mariano,

I'm sailing my H16 for some years now - mostly alone. Tried to sail with mainsail only but found only disadvantages. Tacking is at least difficult, jibing better solution. Also making speed not always easy. With proper trimming and use of both mainsail and jib travellers I can manage quite well alone. Only righting with to less wind turns out to be tricky: I need a bag filled with water. With more wind no problem...
Good luck
