Greg Thomas and I were talking today. He will be out of country for a while to sail in the ISAF Worlds. He will be sailing with Jacques Bernier competing against 45 of the top catamaran teams in the world. The other team that is going are Ollie and Kelli Jason to sail on the Hobie Tigers in this race. There are a couple of USA Womens teams sailing as well, Sandra Tartaglino (skipper) and Teri McKeena (crew) as well and Annie Nelson (skipper) and Sue Korz (crew). Let’s all wish them the best in this endeavor. I have provided a list of the Olympians that will be sailing in the Formula 18 group and a list of other sailors that we know from other events. I am sure this is hardly a complete list of the exceptional sailors that will be there. I could not figure out any of the other tops as I have not sailed against them all. You can get the list at: http://www.worldsailinggames2006.at/cms/index.php?id=393

Not to mention the reigning Tornado World Champs from Spain, #2 ranked French etc. etc. Pretty much top 20 Tornado teams in the world will be there (with the exception of John and Charlie). All the teams we saw at the Miami OCR and then some.
These are all the guys who will be competing in Beijing in '08. It is a treat for us to get to race in this crowd.
