Just a quick post to let everyone know that the UK Association is in the process of being formed.

At the recent F16 Nations Cup, Paul Warren was (almost <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" /> - thanks Nigel!) unanimously voted as the first Chairman of the Association. He will now begin the process of recruiting his committee and publishing the constitution and rules. He urgently needs a Secretary to help with the formation of the Association. Is there anyone out there prepared to help? I already have the text for the constitution and rules of the association. The time required will be only a couple of hours a week at this stage.

Anyone prepared to assist should PM either Paul or myself.

Come on guys! We all want the UK F16 fleet to build. We've had no offers from anyone to help get the UK Association moving. Surely someone out there can spare a couple of hours or so a week?

Hi all,

As John already told the F16 class in the UK is growning rappidly and therefore is a class association needed. It is important that this class needs a association to continuing growing. It is also worldwide a must to have the country association because of the championship etc etc. So please help John with this otherwise we will not come further with it.

Best regards,

Hans Klok

I'm afriad that you'll have to contact people personally to get stuff like this done. Ever since the beginning of the F16 class a general call for help or participation never lead to results. For some reason people always feel that such messages are meant for others.
