A good place to start would be on the wave forum. Click on the "main index" at the top of this page. The IWCA (International Wave Class Association) is a little over half way down.
But don't be a stranger here! We are all interested in new sailors, how well they develope, and especially if they are having any problems. We have more information and good advice than anybody would ever want to hear! <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

Posts: 3,355 Key Largo, FL and Put-in-Bay, ... | We have a pretty active fleet of Waves in Florida and the east coast of the USA. SUggest going to www.waveclass.org and check out the schedules. I will be putting on a Wave Only seminar the weekend before the Nationals in Key Largo. In the Nationals you would still qualify as Youth. There we have trophies for Open, Masters, Women and Youth. We will be sailing in Lake Eustis this fall as well. Also check the Events Schedule on our main pages www.catsailor.comAnd send me an email rick@catsailor.com and I will add you to our mailing list. See ya, Rick | | | Re: Want to get into racing - what should i do?

The Wave Nationals are a "come one, come all" kind of event and is a very welcoming class. If I had more vacation time during the year, this event would be very high on my list to participate because the competition and location is top notch.

Posts: 1,246 Orlando, FL | Performance Sail & Sport http://www.performancesailandsport.com/index.html has Hobie Wave races every Thursday night and a High School Sailing Program (notice the link on the left side). Performance is located 200 yds north of Pineda Causeway on U.S. 1 between Melbourne and Rockledge. Should take you about 50 minutes from Orlando. When you call you can speak with Scott Hubel. 321.253.3737
