Tie it to your battens off the back of your main.

Ryan-

I have a pirate flag that I was planning to fly as well. But where might I get one of those flag pole accsessories?

Kevin, Sorry to tell you, but mine was an old fishing rod that the tip was broken. I used the butt section to create my own (I didn't like the idea of attaching the flag to the battens). I discovered that the glass section of the rod was slid into an aluminum 'stiffener' section, the aluminum tube was notched where it fits over the sail headboard, then I used aluminum pop rivets to secure it. I probably got a little carried away trying to make the heavy fishing swivels (for attaching the flag) pivot 360 degrees; (it still hangs up). Anyway, that's what I did, your mileage may vary.

Wow...I'm glad I'm not the only OCD person here.
