I am trying to decide whether to install a rubber universal joint for the tiller. My metal one is a bit of a pain at times. When I change sides you have to play with it a bit to get it to the other side. Is this idea an upgrade or a downgrade? Are there better otions?

Cheers

I did not have any problems on either of my Hobies with this joint. Is the bolt oo tight? You might want to try and back it off about 1/4 turn so it can swivel freely.
