Anyone know where to find line specs for the Nacra 17. Not listed on the Performance site that I could see. Specifically need to know diameter and length for the spinnaker sheet.

Thanks

Spin sheet length = 42' x 5/16" line. I currently use the Buzz line from New England. Yale Light works well too.

Buzz is what comes with the 2006 F17 package. It has a real nice "hand" and doesn't absorb water.

So, is there another name for "Buzz line from New England"? I've gone to their website and can't find it anywhere, I'm thinking about a new sheeting system for my boat and am interested in something that has "a real nice "hand" and doesn't absorb water". Thanks

I also use 50' x 5/16" Yale Light on my 14. I believe you can purchase YL from this website. <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

This "buzz" line you speak of, is actually spelled "bzzz." If Rick doesn't have it in stock, shoot me a pm and I'll tell you where to find it.

Actually found Buzzz line in my Layline catalog, half the price of Yale light. Had inadvertently layed my spinnaker sheet(Nacra 17) down when taking my boat apart and drove off without it. Unfortunately, it disappeared quickly. Bought some cheap line locally to get me by on a light air day and the guy ran it through one of those rope counters and cut it at 42 feet. Attached it to the spinnaker clew with a couple of figure eight stoppers but the line seemed perhaps just a little short. Not enough for me to run it from the trap line and I ended up adding about 3-4 feet of pigtail at the spinnaker which gave me enough. Had already ordered 45', hope this is enough. Thought I saw this site selling spinnaker sheets for the Nacra 18 & 20 at a length of 52'. 10 foot difference seems like a lot between the 17 and these boats. I suppose it's possible the rope counter was off. Anyway,(duh), I guess I should go measure whats on there now. Thanks for the info.
