Matt Perkins, another Hobie crew all star turned skipper, finished second sailing with Mike Iames. T.J. Tullo and Niki Kennedy, past 420 North American Champions, finish third. Tullo also represented the US at the 2005 ISAF Youth Worlds in Hobie 16s. Another pair of dinghy converts Sam Ingham and Grahm Gardner finished fourth. The 2006 US Youth Multihull Champion Sarah Newberry sailing with Jamie Grisco finished fifth. In sixth were locals Eric Raybon and Jason Bilow who just last week qualified to represent the US at the 2007 ISAF Youth Worlds in Hobie 16s.
The Women's result appeared clear from the beginning. Susan Korz, recent ISAF World Sailing Games Bronze medallist, sailing with Hobie ace Diane Bisesi won the event with all bullets. Winning the close race for second was Lynn Myers and Janet Payne. Rounding out the top three in the ten boat women's fleet was Kathryn Garlick and Sharon Woodruff.
The regatta was concluded with an old school hull flying contest won by youth coach Mike Siau.
