Ditto -- NO.

Only need about 12-15' of rope secured to your dolphin striker and tucked in your tramp' bag. On your first capsize you can determine where to tie a not in the rope to use on your trapeze harness hook.

i did not get one either but was thinking of figuring out one of the "hawain righting rigs" for the blade so my 12 yr old would have a sheet to hold on to when trapped out. any ideas?

You may also give your son the traveller sheet to hold on to.

Maybe they figured you’ll never need one or maybe they’re just being cheapskates…. <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Or more likely, personal preference of the skipper as to which style to incorporate.

I've got a righting line on my Blade. I'm not sure if I should keep it in the trampoline pocket or use the ideas i've seen on this forum?

It's a little quicker process if the line is already out of the bag. I've opted for a double line system, so that I can use one line to haul myself on the boat and one line to right.
