This is just an interesting site that I came across when I was researching about Richard Roake: http://www.geocities.com/aerohydro/othercrafttext2.htm#Killerwasp

If you want to see more of what Richard is doing these days, you can find it at: http://foxxaero.homestead.com/indrad_063.html

By the way, if you don't know who Richard Roake is.....15+ years ago he was designing planing catamaran designs, one of which won the Worrell 1000 in 1989 with Randy Smyth as pilot. Roake also designed the Hardcore 16 catamaran, but only a very few (I only knew of two) were built.

I am sure I have pictures of it somewhere in one of my file drawers in Key Largo. But we are in Ohio until October. It was very unique looking at the time because it looked like an upside-down boat. I know I took pictures of it on the beach.

Randy said it was a very uncomfortable ride. We watched him go by off Fort Lauderdale or someplace and it was like watching a big windsurfer, bouncing from wave to wave.
