Hey Gang,

I apologize, but I have to begin by straightening out the membership data below. All data prior to June is correct. Thanks for hanging in there, Bob. It appears that the NAMSA enthusiasm has ebbed to a standstill. I guess the only way it will get ignited again is to have Hobie make another silly edict.

At least we have the platform in place and ready whenever interest starts to grow again.

Maybe get with a few active fleets and propose a 2007 schedule of sanctioned races?

At least that would show that NAMSA is still out there and ready to serve its membership.

HI Jay,
What bothers me is that I don't think we are still out there. Are we?
It is probably mostly my fault for not keeping fires lit under everyone.., and I admit that since Mary quit doing the magazine, my office manager took another job.., and I have had to take over both of those, I really have very little time for anything else.
Maybe it would be good time at the national meeting at the Tradewinds that we get new officers involved. I should be first to go since I really don't have time to devote to the cause at this time.
Some food for thought.., if any of the officers and directors ever come to this Forum anymore.
Rick

I'm still visiting here from time to time...but like Rick, have found myself penny and time poor.

Anyone know a homeless PRO we can use to sanction NAMSA regattas around the country?

I suppose we have to wait for HCA to make another ridiculous statement to get the ball rolling again. <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />
