Wildcat Regatta
September 23-24

You might want to take the Turnpike up, that would be faster than rt.27 but the tolls with a trailer will be expensive. From Eustis to my house on rt.27 is about 110 miles, or 2 hrs., and then from my house to Ft. Lauderdale on 27 to I75 (Aligator Alley) is about another 2 hrs. for planing purposes.

Registered boats.

So far looking really good. There are three pre-registered boats. TikiPete, TBack and Myself. I know for a fact over verbal confirmation that Matt McDonald will be participating. I also know Chuck and Mavis participated last year. HOPEFULLY this year they will be there as well. I also hope that Paul (who bought Chucks Taipan) will be there and Seth Stern.

Currently TBack, Seth and Myself are tied in third place with four points in the Harken Bouy series. Chuck is only ONE point behind Matt, with 13 and 14 points respectively. Harken Scores

I am sure this regatta will be a very good race. I am looking foward to seing everyone out there.

I am showing up EARLY EARLY Saturday, setting up and then racing. I cannot make it Friday.

Chuck and I will be representing the F16 class in the F18 North Americans. We don't arrive back into town until Saturday, so we won't be attending.

Make sure you all cheer for us as we look to dominate the F18's as team butterfly.

I'm halfway done with 777 school in Atlanta so I called the sceduler to ask about days off in October. He said he would "Work with me..." and there is a good chance he will be able to give me that weekend off (Oct. 7-8) so I -should- be there, I hope.
