The field of competitors is looking pretty tough. People from Australia to Netherlands registered for the event.

Here is the link to the live updates: NAF18 Live Updates

Here is a link to the site which will be putting up videos of the event: AdventureOnline TV

Here is a link to the NAF18 site: NAF18 North Americans

If you are on the fence concerning this regatta you really need to be there. The schedule of events looks great with Lunches and most dinners provided. Beer truck on site all week. Competitors are already in town getting a feel for the lake.

Mike Hill and his team are putting together a Championship Regatta with all the fun stuff and at a great venue! It sure looks like it will be a terrific F18 Championship and the attending list leads me to speculate who will be out front at the end of next week:

1) Misha Heemskerk and Carrie "Rock Star" Howe on the Yamaha sponsored Nacra Infusion. Misha spent all season in the very competitive European F18 circuit and has picked up a crew that won four world championships in 3 months last year.
2) Robbie Daniel and Hunter Stunzi on a Capricorn. Robbie and Hunter are last years Alter Cup Champions.

3) Ollie and Kelly Jason on a Capricorn. Ollie and Kelly have trained relentlessly this year and last, and were second to Greg and Jacque in last year's NAF18 Championships. I pick them over some others because of the teamwork required to do well in the F18 Fleet.
4) John Casey and Kenny Pierce on a Nacra Infusion. Team Tybee are multiple winners of the Tybee 500 and have been winning regattas this year. The F18 isn't their regular ride, but I think they will perform well.

Excluded from my picks are Greg Goodall and Nigel Pitt because neither has listed a crew. I don't think you can win without good teamwork, so they didn't make my top picks.

Who are you picking?
