Get rid of IE and use Modzilla FireFox. There are all kind of problems with IE.

Doug

P.S. I use Thunderbird too instead on Outlook

Get rid of Firefox and fix your IE. Its actually Quicktime thats probably killing your browser.

I wish Apple would slip in a puddle of AIDS.

And how can you as a non-programmer without access to the source code "Fix" IE? There is just too much wrong with it to fix it.

All applications suck more or less, IE is quite high on my suck'o meter, but clearly surpassed by the operating systems and licensing deals coming out of Redmond today. The next OS coming from MS, Windows Vista, seems like a clear candidate to blow my suck'o meter scale completely. Not looking forward to that one.. Yes, all software sucks, including Linux and BSD* variations over the Unix system. Even the applications I have written myself suck in certain areas. You have _not_ enough experience with computers as a sysadmin or even as a (l)user if you dont agree.

IE has very BAD security issues. I like Fire fox and have Kaspersky firewall and Spybot - Search & Destroy stop all intrusion from getting in. If you insist on using IE, just be REAL careful. Microsoft like to leave bugs in so you ALWAYS have to by new software. I am going to stay away form Vista till next summer.

Doug, Kaspersky and Spybot probably stop all the lame attempts at compromising your systems security, but the really bad ones are probably never detected. All software have errors, but new software have new and better errors.. (ref: Vista)

Really great video tough. Sailing the T with spi up and twin wiring is a hoot! Made me want to move to NZ now! Sailing around the year..
Interesting to see the sailplan and especially the spi from above. Those Gran Segel spis are really flat.

Rolf:

I agree. we just protect the best we can and stay away from the crap we know is bad. I will wait awhile on Vista. I have the machine for it. (Dell XPS with 2 gig and 512 video). Any way back to sailing. Yes nice video. I like the one with F14 Alpha Omega, but can't get it to runon new machine. Can't find the right codec. Had a very trick, fluky wind day today. Getting read for Texas Catamaran Championships on the 21st and 22nd.

Good Sailing.

Doug
