Great Boat
Fast
F18
Will win with the right crew on Board... but so will any of the other makes of F18.

Answer - Get out on the water and improve your skills by 5% and you will negate any difference in boat speed between the F18 manufacturers

Ture, improving skills is most important. My feeling though is having that 5% is important. 40 minute race, 5% is 2 minutes, which beats a bunch of boats that are at the same skill level.

or another way to look at it, every race you get a 2 minute head start.

hey, maybe not the right place but I'm looking for an opportunity to get out on the water and sail. I'm 18, an exchangestudent from sweden and I've been sailing and competing for years. My multihull experiences limits to two years of sailing in a F-18 Tiger, no competing though. I live in Tampa and I'd like to get out on the water, crew or helm doesn't matter... please write me back if you've got any information or suggestions for what I should do.

thank you!

Florida Otto,

I think that the Florida F18 Fleet look at the Open Forum on this site more than they look here. Try posting over there and also take a look at putting your info into the Crew forum.

Blue is by far the fastest color to have on the Capricorn!
