Hello,

I have a nacra 5.0. I use it for recreation (not for racing) and I want to use a front beam jib sheeting system like those of the nacra fun series nacra 450 , 500, 570.Tthat way the trampoline will be more comfortable.

Is that feasible? Has anyone done the same? Where can I find a plan of the nacra 5.0 with ALL dimensions specified?

Thanks

Mods of putting blocks on the front beam have been done, but the first problem

you will run into is that the foot of the jib is too long. you will have to have the

sail modified (shortened) if you want to do this type of mod. Another possibility

is to purchase a nacra 500 jib. It should still fit the forestay. The 500 jib is

shorter than the 5.0 jib to accomodate the new block design.
