Hi All

Just wanted to know if there is anyone out there that may live on the North Shore of Long Island New York, that might be willing to come by and help me rig up a Hobie 16 that I purchased on e bay a while ago.

Ive tried to rig it alone last week and pretty much gave up when i tried to raise the mast, at least i gave my wife a good laugh.

anyhow if anyone in the area can help this newbie out, it would be appreciated

Niko

i know its tough when you're a begginer and you've never seen anyone do it before. i don't live in NY but you might want to check this out:

http://www.nahca.org/hobies/h16assemblymanual.pdf

there's a pretty comprehensive section on stepping.

Also "catamaran sailing from start to finish" by Phil Berman is an essential book to own for any catsailor.

if you're really stuck on something i'd be happy to help by talkin you through it if you can't find anyone in your area. just email me and i'll give you my # if you get desperate.

good luck and happy sailing.

justin um engineering student my H16 is older than i am
