The US Sailing Alter Cup Committee is pleased to announce the selection of the Clearwater Community Sailing Center in Clearwater, Florida, as the venue for the 2003 US Sailing Multihull Championship for the Alter Cup, April 5 through 11, 2003. The Sailing Center is under the direction of the Clearwater Community Sailing Association, Inc, a non-profit organization committed to education and the promotion of sailing in the Central Florida region.
The selected platform for the 2003 Championship is the 2003 Bimare Javelin 2 (B), manufactured by Bimare of Italy. This catamaran is a light-weight, 18-foot main and spinnaker boat.
