Come on I 20 sailors sign up for the Summer Sizzler this weekend in VA Beach. Would it not be great to have a bigger class than the 18HT since they are racing for 5,000 and we the I 20’s are racing for 500. The media will wonder why they gave more prize money to the smaller fleet.

It does seem odd that the I 20s get a half off worrell registration if you have not already registered and the Worrell boat next year is the 18 HT ( seems kind of backwards to me.

I'm pretty sure Bimare is putting up the money for the 18HT class and even for the I20s (how about that?). Personally, I wonder less about why there's $5k up for the 18HT but more about why our American boat manufactures don't promote their classes the same way..
