I´ve found at reasonably priced HC18 Pacific that im thinking about buying. As i haven´t sailed this type of Hobie for more than 30 min any opinions on handling etc would be of great help. Boat will be used for fun and some raids but no competition. Currently own and sail a HC16.

I am not familiar with the Pacific portion of the discription. Is this a sail color package or are you looking at an old Pacific Cat which was not built by Hobie? The old Pacifics came in 3 variations and looked nothing like a H-18.

The Hobie Pacific is, I think, an 18 foot boardless cat. It's relatively new. It uses a long skeg on the bottom of each hull rather than daggerboards. Try the Hobie page.
