Bob, how much does it cost to go to this race from Puerto Rico? Have you ever done it? I know you are not in Puerto Rico but you are right next door.

I have e mailed the event folks,..and they ALWAYS say YES, come on down!

The Euro package include shipping the boat on a specific line,[ that co-sponsers the event], hotel, regatta, the whole deal.

IF some up in the US/Canada got a shipper to sponser you, or collaborate to get a good price, the rest is nominal.

I asked Aruba if we just showed up with our own boats [ got them there ourselves], could we race?....again, they said yes.

You do not have to stay at this hotel either. Heck, when we go to other islands regattas, or when other islands come here, there is always a group that camps on the beach next to their boats.

I camp in a tent on the beach, it is great. Be warned, it might dip to 78 degrees F at nite..:-)

Price from PR? In the past, the PR racers get a local shipper to sponser them [ ..free..] and put their boats on open containers and go. If you want specific price for 1 boat, contact Tropical shipping.
