The temperature is dropping in New England and that means one thing... time to firm up plans to head south for the steeplechase.
We (team accelerated chaos) is looking to make it a fairly quick trip this year due to work schedules. We are looking for anyone on the East coast who may be interested in making the drive round trip or even just the return trip with us. Nate and I are both driving, but having done it many times, the trip is best when done with three drivers. We go straight through from boston to key largo stopping for food and gas only. 2 1/2 - 3 hr. shifts with a bed set up in the back of my SUV for sleeping along the way. No double stack this year, so the towing isn't bad. Anyone intersted??? thinking if maybe someone is looking to go down to race or just looking for some time in the sun/ at the tiki bar. Please have some experience driving a trailer and don't be an jerk. <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
Travel plans include leaving boston wed. afternoon, arriving in the keys for dinner on thursday, return trip after awards on sunday returning to boston for a good nights sleep before work on tuesday!

email me if interested... acceleratedchaos (at) yahoo (dot) com
Thanks,
Chris

I am planning on having a skippers/crew meeting (party) in West Palm Beach on Thursday night. It will put you about 2 1/2 hours shy of Key Largo and a free place to stay. The party will be at my guest condo and we have three beds, a fold out couch, a second couch and lots of floor space. It is usually just some of the Delray guys and a few local sailors. I will have a computer with navigational maps to go over the course. Open to any other sailors out there as well.
