How will this forum prevent anonymous posts? Can it prevent anonymous posts? From the posts I have read on the old forum and at least one on this forum is that there is an expectation that anonymous posts will not be allowed in the new forum. Have I missed something here?

You have to put an IP address to get a user name and this can be blocked if you start trolling.

<br>I just appears like we are jumping through a bunch of hoops to avoid anonymous posts. To me they just aren't worth my time.

<br>I do like the new forum format and the features. However, it is annoying to have to login, and if the new forum is not as active or as insteresting as the old forum people will begin to migrate back to the old forum.

<br>As for the anonymous post, I really don't think the new forum it is going to have significant impact. Only time will tell.
